Kings and queens don’t do it

By Ikumawoyi Toluwalase

“The words of king Lemuel, the utterance which his mother taught him, what, my son? And what, son of my wombs? And what, son of my vows?, Do not give strength to women, Nor your ways to that which destroys kings, it is not for kings, O Lemuel, its is not for kings to drink wine, nor for princes intoxicating drink” proverbs 31:1-4..
Most Christians are ignorant of who they are!.. The issue of identity in the kingdom has been a serious one for us to look into.. People are loosing their identity under the blindfold of graypreachings nd total ignorance.. Ignorance is a great tragedy, greater than death.. Thats why Hosea 4:6 says my people perish for lack of knowledge.. Now , know it.. WE ARE KINGS AND QUEENS.. Check out what the scriptures says in I peter 2:9, describes us a royal priest.. This is a simple arithmetics .. When you are adopted by a king you automatically become a prince.. Yet the scriptures has described us in roman 8:15-17.. We are not slaves but heirs of God.. Now if you will agree with me that this identity have described is yours.. Then you must understand that royalty has its own culture … Unlike the Nigerian mode or style.. Where you find princes and children of royalty messing up themselves… The kingdom is different..from the first passage lemuel’s mother taught him what kings do not do..knowing what to do and what not to do is the basis of fulfilling your destiny..
There are things to run away from and things to run after in life.. Believe me many Christians are busy doing the opposite.. Taking a look at 2 timothy 2:22.. Flee youthful Lust and pursue after righteousness.. Many of us are just like the young man described in proverbs 7.. He ran after what will endanger his life. He is being described as a man devoid of understanding, a fool in common terms..
This message is to our christian youths.. Are still busy enjoying their secret sins.. Its very easy for youths to gravitate towards youthful lusts, things that can lay the foundation for misery.. Samson was a perfect example.. Anointed to the brim.. Full of power.. But he listened to the voice of his loins..kings don’t do such.. Learn from David.. A man after God’s own heart.. Just a peek from his window during his idle hours.. I so love the way the scripture painted it.. (2 samuel 11: 1-5) In the days when kings were in battle.. David was at home.. Idle!, lazy!, he was giving out his responsibility to others.. Why won’t his loins do the talking rather than his spirit.. The companies you keep do they speak of your royalty..
Brethren kings do not unleash their sexual energy anyhow, they are men of Issachar.. They have understanding of times and season.. They do not embark on a journey of sexual adventure, in the name of testing the compatibility.. Its our culture she should be pregnant before marriage.. Grace covers it all.. God has forgiven my future sins.. Hey!! Kings are not known for scandals.. They are not known to be drunkards..
Queens don’t do it!.. You are not a sex object designed to gratify men’s sexual need, don’t give in to the sweet nonsense the brother is saying.. Shebi we are getting married.. Hello ma! Queen Esther used what she had to meet the needs of her people(Esther 2:2).. She kept herself.. Nd she met the requirement of a kings bride.. Purity and undefiled.. That’s royalty.. Moderate dressing.. Am already 30 years old.. So?.. My mates are all in a relationship.. Nd so?.. Is that enough excuse to expose your body nd ignite Lust in innocent brothers, luring them nd trapping them with your body.. Abigail didn’t do it (I Samuel 25:4,32-34).. Stop giving in to the compliments of men.. He says you are sexy.. Nd you are blushing.. Eh!! You want to trade your birthright nd inheritance like Esau.. Well done!!
Royalty isnt a license to spend time chasing shadows.. Its a time to build and plan cos you are meant to rule.. Learn to know what to run after(righteousness) nd learn what to run away from(sin, lust, pleasure ) brother Joseph knew who he was.. Take your stand …
Finally..Ephesians 5:1-3..”imitate God, therefore in everything you, because you are his dear children, live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God, let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God’s people”..
Guard your thoughts.. Bring them in obedience to God.. Guard your loins.. Renew your mind.. Stay in fellowship with God.. Enjoy the new week..
